InvisiFile is a utility which allows the user to make different files... INVISIBLE. Wow.
First, I would just like to say that I am glad that so many people have downloaded InvisiFile. The new version of InvisiFile is free to those who have paid their ShareWare fee for InvisiFile 1.0 to me. The fee is the same as the previous version, so don’t bother paying for 1.0 and then expecting to have 1.1 free. You can if you want, but it is a waste of time.
Please note that this is only an addendum. The original release User’s Guide is uploaded as "InvisiFileUG.SIT". It is the same guide as the one that was packaged with version 1.0. I have separated them apart now, because it is probably better to download something once than a great number of times, especially when you are paying for the time.

Only additions have been made, since the bugs are very minor and can wait until I have some features polished up.
• I have included a routine that allows you to double-click on a file in the list and make it either visible or invisible (depending on what it is already). It accords with the default button, if that button is “Make visible” or “Make invisible”. You can now easily go right down the list and select files to make visible or invisible, providing both file showing selectors are checked.
• The list is now redrawn when you have only one of the selectors showing either visible or invisible files checked after you change the attributes of a file. If you change an attribute, the file will be removed from the list (because the attributes have indeed been changed and the file now belongs to the other side of the list).
• A new “Close folder” button has been added, and is made default instead of the “Quit” button when no file is selected.
• Some small features are also added, but they are fairly minor, and your use will probably speed over them without much notice. Most are just proficiency additions.

The same problems still remain. Only additions have been made. Since they are of minor importance, I have decided to let them pass for a while.

If you send me a self addressed envelope, about 50 cents to cover postage (I have to put a Canadian stamp on it), and a disk, I will send you the latest version of InvisiFile, including the manual, addendums, and all previous versions, if you wish. It is probably much quicker to do it via modem, but if you want, this is an outlet for you.

This program MAY NOT be sold by itself or as part of a commercial package without the author’s permission (meaning mine). That doesn’t mean I won’t give it. I just want to be asked first. It may, however, be distributed on bulletin boards, through user groups, passed from person to person, and the like. I can accept that it could be distributed by Public Domain and ShareWare distributors such as Educorp as well.
You may distribute it freely. Free meaning no payment for the software portion (copying and disk costs excluded), and free meaning don’t feel held back from giving it away.
